BLACK STRAT HENDRIX
Jimi in all his FOP glory. FOP was an abbreviation for “Fashion Plate.” Jimi always wore fantastic cloths from London and looked great. The Stratocaster is his trademark guitar and is an extension of his persona. This painting has one of Grace’s fantastic backgrounds that she uses in defining the subject matter. In this case the purple background reflects the nobility in Jimi’s place in Rock history/royalty.
