BLUE WOMAN
Taken from a larger painting, this woman was womewhat hidden within the abstract shapes surrounding it. The reference to his respoct for women is evident as was as this connection to spiritual concepts.
The piece is reminiscent of early Egyptian paintings that would be found on temple walls.
We can only guess as to the use of the color blue, perhaps it is about Jimi’s attachment to the blues and his own state of mind at the time he painted the piece.
