“This painting is done in a monotone palette that reflects the short and fleeting time that janis was with us. She was an illusion that disappeared as quickly as a desert mirage.
While she was here with us she made a very strong impression, but her life faded quickly as she got into the fast lane sex, drugs, and rock & roll lifestyle.”
