Janis Joplin Limited Editions
The Joplin family has taken great time and expense to gather any and all available information and imagery on the art that Janis did during her lifetime.
Many of the original art pieces being offered here as estate signed limited editions were in private collections and in bad states of repair. By searching out private institutions and collectors the Joplin estate and Area Arts have been able to create the Janis Joplin art line.
Using many high tech restoration and archiving techniques the art of Janis has been brought back to life and is now being offered for sale to the public as beautiful estate signed limited editions.
Each piece is hand signed by Michael Joplin, Janis’ brother, and bears the embossed official Janis signature. Each piece is accompanied by an official certificate of authenticity from Area Arts.
The printing styles in the line include hand pulled serigraphs ad state of the art Giclee prints.
