60’s Rock Icon Endorses Medical Cannabis with her Art.
Grace Slick, lead singer of Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship and Starship, has been painting professionally for over 12 years. During the last couple of these she has been closely following the Medical Cannabis movement in California. In addition to becoming an outspoken supporter, she has created a special series of paintings and limited editions that deal with the Medical Cannabis issue, the people who benefit from it and the laws surrounding it. This exhibit showcases the collection of paintings that tell the story of the Rescue Rabbit and his quest to help people in need of relief.
Grace will be making a special appearance at the March 1st opening
to talk with collectors and dedicate artwork purchased at the event.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit MPP, marijuana policy project.
