Area Arts, Fine Art Productions keeps sales, shipping, and returns simple, with the goal of making everything as smooth as possible so you can enjoy your artwork. We want you to be completely satisfied.
How Purchases Work
Purchases are arranged directly with us. When you’re interested in a piece, contact us and we’ll walk you through availability, pricing, and the best way to get it to you. Once your purchase is confirmed, we’ll coordinate delivery with you personally.
Shipping
- Carrier of your choice. We ship directly and can use the carrier you prefer (for example, FedEx or USPS). We’ll provide tracking or confirmation details once your piece is on its way.
- Local delivery and event pickup. If you’re local, or if the work is with us at a gallery show or event, we’re glad to arrange pickup or hand-delivery on a case-by-case basis.
- Timing and cost. Shipping times and costs vary by carrier, destination, and the size and value of the work. We’ll go over the specifics with you at the time of sale.
- International. We can ship to most locations worldwide. If you’re outside the U.S., just ask and we’ll confirm what’s possible for your location.
Because original artwork is valuable, we pack every piece carefully and recommend insuring shipments for their full value.
Returns
- No refunds on original art, special orders, or framing.
- Warranty. All products are sold with the manufacturer’s warranty, which we will honor. If a product breaks or is defective, contact us to receive a return authorization number, send the product back packed well with the return authorization number written on the box, and we’ll examine it and replace it.
- Damaged products. If a product is damaged during shipping, please keep the original damaged packaging and contact us immediately so we can have the package picked up and a replacement sent out.
- Returns & exchanges. To return an eligible item, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a store credit. The product must be in original condition and shipped to us prepaid, packed well, and insured for its total value. Once we receive the returned item, we will issue a store credit for the purchase price minus the original shipping fee.
