This painting was one of the many abstract pen and ink drawings that Jimi did in the late 60s. The work shows that he was interested in composition and how various shapes and colors were powerful forces.

These geometrical images were woven into many of his paintings creating a larger mix of many different subjects and scenes in one painting. It was as if he was trying to tell a complete story within the confines of one painting.
